Marcos Questas, Las Vegas tango dance instructor, was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He began his career in Tango when he was six years old. Since then he has become an accomplished gaucho dancer, choreographer, and tango instructor. A second generation dancer, he has preformed on the TV show Grandes Valores del Tango as well as the Olympia Theater of Paris, the Palais des Papes, and the National Theater of London. His most recent achievements include Tangoing, Tango Project I, Tango Project II, and Fusion Tango at the famed Kodak Theater in Hollywood.
His assistant Ruta Maria is also an accomplished tango instructor and choreographer. Marcos Questas and Ruta Maria are now based out of the Las Vegas and teach Tango lessons to all levels of ability. Ruta Maria, a native of Las Vegas, trained with Nevada Ballet Theater and graduated from Interlochen Arts Academy. Her classical ballet background has taken her all over the world also training with the Bolshoi Academy and representing the US in the USA International Ballet Competitions. Her repertoire includes principle roles with Civic Ballet, Jacksonville Ballet, Nevada Ballet Theater, Cirque du Soleil and Andrea Bocelli. She continues to choreograph and perform.
